compressing from FCP3

Yo!

I'm having some trouble compressing my 2 minute video clip from Final Cut Pro 3 to a quicktime movie file. I've tried the MPEG and Sorenson codecs, at 320 x 240 size, and frame rate of 15 (key frame rate 250).

I'm tryin to get a small enough clip for stickin on a web site, so I'm aiming at around 8-10mb. I've got it down to about 16mb with the above settings but when there's any amount of movement, all these nasty horizontal lines appear and distort the image....anyone know how to combat this and still keep the file size low?

for starters look at the Audio compression. Have it mono this will half the audio file size and compress it at 22khz. In QT you can analyse audio & viseo file attributes (Apple + 'J').

I key frame at between 2-10 frames, 250 is too high.
